I was very satisfied. It was exactly what I wanted. I use it for my disabled pets.

I am about to order a case of these. I have been using these for over 20 years and my originals are finally dying (after that long, the waterproof backing gets nuked by the dryer and being chewed on by dogs). I have washed (on hot), bleached, and dried these hundreds and hundreds of times. What I especially like about these, that some people may dislike, is that they are heavy and stiff. That means that they stay in place better than the newer, modern lightweight pads that dogs can easily bunch up (and rip apart). I just wasted a bunch of money on those newer-style pads. Ugh. These Cardinal Health are amazingly durable, great for both puppies and late-in-life incontinent dogs. I can line their bedding and crates, use them in the car, put them where the dogs sleep on my bed - they don't bunch or roll up and can be super-washed about a thousand times (literally). These are now the only brand I will buy for dogs.That said, I can use the new, more flexible ones on furniture since these stiffer pads can be less comfortable to sit on. I have a new puppy and I have blankets on the couch since she is not fully housebroken. Putting the new-style pads under the blanket will hold the floppy pads in place while being more comfy and will still give me waterproofing. But for use in crates, dog bedding and where you really want stiff, thick pads, these Cardinal Health pads are unbeatable.

I have an inherited neuropath that affects my bladder function in a way such that I occasionally am not wakened by the urge to void, and I wet the bed. I have used a variety of bed pads for about a decade now, since things have gotten to this point, and they are a godsend, in terms of saving the need to remake the bed or reducing the potential of damaging the mattress.I've had enough experience now, though, that a question I've had in mind regarding many of these pads is why they don't leak through, when the water-proof back layer is scored through with stitches that hold it to the soft, absorbent top layer. As it turns out, given enough washings, they finally do, and then I'm back to having to remake the bed and cleanse the mattress. I have not counted the number of washings before it got to this point, but it must have been far less than the number of washings guaranteed for this product.The point with these is that the waterproof, back layer of fabric is not scored with stitches to hold it to the upper layer, as is the case with many brands, so that leaking through should not become a problem. In fact, they are guaranteed not to leak for 800 washings. Not that I plan on counting, but given that I purchased them in a cost-saving set of ten, that would represent 8,000 washings, and I don't suspect that even the limits on the guarantee are likely to be met (by which I mean to say, I suspect they'll each be washed many more times than 800 before they get leaky, if ever). I also don't need to wash one anywhere near every day, so these should last me many years without any worries.They also come in a wonderfully generous size that further inhibits the likelihood of having urine run over the edge onto the bedding, and they are quite thick and comfortable to lie on.
