Vitale Collagen Powder is an absorbent wound filler made of type 1 microfibrillar collagen that is used to treat minimal to heavily exuding acute and chronic wounds as well as to control mild bleeding. When collagen powder comes into contact with exudate, it forms a gel that creates a moist, physiologically favorable environment for wound healing. Vitale Collagen Powder Dressings are used directly to the wound as a wound filler and to absorb exudate and exudate components that may interfere with wound healing.
